Tug is a very nice pony with a lot of potential in the right situation, but one we have just not had the time to develop or work with consistently. He is a very nice mover with flatter knee action, so more suited to the hunter ring, but potential in dressage as well. Actually, he is a pretty brave pony, so I have always seen him as an eventer, but I don't do that anymore! He has a super sweet personality and loves attention, but because he was started late and has not had consistent work he is definitely a project pony rather than a "made" pony.
Tug goes very well under saddle when he is in consistent (3-5 days per week) work. If he is not in consistent work, he starts out a little tight in the back and benefits from 5-10 minutes of lunging. Because of this quirk, he would not be the right choice for inexperienced riders. He is easy to care for an currently lives out 24/7, but he has also been kept stabled.
For sale to an approved home only. A great opportunity for a young trainer who is willing to put in some quality work on a very nicely bred pony...it wouldn't take long to make this one a real star!
